ANT 430: Women's Health
This course examines the relationship
between culture and women’s health in different societies around the
world. We assess the economic, political and environmental factors
influencing women’s health. Topics include: medicalization of the life
cycle, feminization of poverty, HIV/AIDS, mental health, gendered
violence and international health and development.
