Financial hardship funds are available to help student's meet their basic needs, and help cover educational costs (such as housing, food, and textbooks) that a student could not otherwise pay out of pocket. All financial aid options offered, including loans, must typically be utilized prior to offering additional grant funding. |

As a service to students, the Financial Aid Office provides short-term loans to students when tuition arrangements have already been made for the upcoming semester. These limited loans ($500 maximum) are typically used for the purchase of textbooks and supplies. |

Student Employment works with all University departments and the community to create part-time and summer employment opportunities for students. As part of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, we administer the Federal Work-Study Program university-wide. The purpose of Student Employment is to aid students in obtaining employment that will help finance their education and develop work skills for their future career choice. |
