After having experienced the new hire training process at Koops as co-op students, a group of five mechanical and electrical engineering students undertook the design of this machine as an engineering senior project. The machine guides new hires and interns through common components and processes used by Koops Automation Systems. In addition to the machine, a training protocol was developed that will aide in getting trainees comfortable with programming and debugging machines, along with common automation processes.
