Advising Update for Students
March 13, 2020
As you are aware, GVSU will be closed for the next few days. As we
transition to an online and remote setting next week, the Brooks
Advising team wanted to express that we are here to support you during
this time. Our goal is to help you stay academically focused and to
make sure your advising and registration process are as smooth as
possible. Your health and safety are important to us.
You may have already scheduled an advising appointment, or you
may have been planning to schedule a time to meet with an advisor
soon. We will continue to offer advising appointments by phone. We
will not be offering face to face advising appointments until GVSU
resumes normal operations.
If you have a question that can be addressed by email, please
feel free to email Jennifer Jameslyn at [email protected]. We expect that
email volume will be higher than normal at this time, so be please be
patient if your email is not answered immediately.
If you
would like to speak with an advisor, you can keep your scheduled
appointment, or use the online scheduling system to book an
appointment. Jen will call you at your scheduled time. Online
scheduling is available through our website: www.gvsu.edu/integrativelearning
Click Schedule an Appointment and select an available time.
To make sure we have the most up to date information on file,
please make sure your myProfile is updated with your current phone
number and email address so that we can easily reach you. You can
find this information when you log into Banner, under Personal
Information.
