Writing Center experience leads alum to New York City

An alumna who secured a competitive internship in New York City could
help move the next bestselling book from manuscript to bookstores.
Samantha Howard, a native of Marshall, Michigan, graduated in
December 2010 with a double major in English and Women and Gender
Studies. She will spend this summer as an editorial intern for W.W.
Norton & Co., an established publishing house that produces
textbooks and general interest books.
