Homecoming 2024 Royalty Nomination
Grand Valley State University's Homecoming Royalty are learners who represent the Grand Valley community and emulate what it means to be a Laker. Candidates must be enrolled full-time, third or fourth-year class standing, and are in accordance with the institution. Nominations for Homecoming Royalty are now open and close Thursday, October 10 at 11:59 a.m. Nominators can nominate multiple individuals but cannot nominate themselves.
Homecoming Royalty selection is based on two categories: formal interview and voting.
If the nomination is confirmed by the nominee, all nominees will conduct a formal interview. Eight (8) Homecoming Royalty candidates will be selected based on their qualities of what it means to be a Laker to form the Homecoming Court.
Homecoming Court Royalty candidate voting takes place Monday, October 28 to Thursday, October 31.
The Homecoming Royal will be crowned at the Lip Sync Battle on Friday, November 1.
The 2024 Homecoming Royal will receive a $500 scholarship towards their academics.
