HST 333 - Survey of Modern Chinese History
Introduction to modern Chinese history from the late Ch'ing Dynasty to the present. Particular emphasis will be on China's two revolutions in 1911 and 1949 and the rise of Communism. Offered fall semester, odd-numbered years. Prerequisites: Junior standing.
