PHI 300 - Theories of Human Nature
Survey of philosophical, scientific, and religious conceptions of the human being, from past and present and from various cultures. Issues include meaning of life, destiny of humanity, relations between humans, human development and evolution, relations of humans to their creator/origins and to their environments and methodologies for investigating human nature. Part of Human Journey theme. Offered fall, winter, spring and summer semesters.
