MTH 304 - Analysis of Differential Equations

Solution methods for first order and second order linear equations (including power series and numerical methods). The linear algebra of linear systems and their solutions. Qualitative analysis of linear and nonlinear systems: phase plane; existence and uniqueness; stability, applications in physical, biological, and social sciences. Offered every winter and fall semester of even years. Prerequisites: MTH 203 and MTH 227.
