CHM 321 - Environmental Chemistry

A study of the chemistry of our environment and the chemistry underlying our environmental problems. The sources, transport, reactions, and fates of chemical species in the water, air, and soil will be discussed, and the health effects associated with these pollutants on humans, animals, and the environment will be addressed. (3-0-0) Offered winter semester of odd-numbered years. Prerequisite: CHM 231 or CHM 242 or CHM 247 or CHM 248.
