Focuses on the history and context of American philosophy, from the precolonial indigenous wisdom traditions to contemporary philosophers. Special emphasis on American Pragmatism as a distinctively American philosophical movement, and on the issues of race as a common theme in American philosophy. Fulfills Cultures - U.S. Diversity.
