EDF 676 - Introduction to Place-Based Education

Place-based education is the process of using the local community and environment as the basis for curriculum and learning. This course will assist students in understanding the fundamental principles and practices of place-based education that nurture academic skills, strong ties to community, civic engagement, local-global connections, and sustainable practices. Course offered winter and spring/summer semester.
