ENG 337 - Contemporary Black Literature
Studies the importance and variety of literature by Black authors from Africa, the Americas, and/or Afro Europe since 1975. Texts written earlier than 1975 are used to consider influential historical and/or social events, trends and themes, literary styles, innovative uses of popular culture, and/or expression of the experience of marginality.
