PT 688 - Advanced Topics: Neurologic Physical Therapy
This course will critically examine evidence-based practice in neurologic rehabilitation. Current trends in practice will be analyzed from a theoretical, clinical, and neuroscience perspective. Students will apply foundational motor control theories for diagnosing and treating movement dysfunction, including advanced clinical practice skills for management of vestibular, balance and gait dysfunction. Course is graded credit/no credit. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previously required courses in the D.P.T. curricular sequence or licensed as a physical therapist.
