SOC 204 - Introduction to Social Theory
Builds the intellectual sophistication necessary to understand and work with theoretical concepts. Teaches imaginative assessment and creative construction of theoretical dialogues from classical theory, race and ethnicity, sex, gender and sexuality, recent developments in theory, and other areas, with application to real-life social events. Emphasis on reading primary texts. Course offered fall and winter semesters.
