FIT 111 - Training for a 5K Road Race

This course provides the knowledge of training methods for distance running and the opportunity to apply this toward preparation for a 5K road race. Students will learn to balance training and recovery, running physiology, nutrition, and tapering needed for successful participation in a 5K road race. Course is offered credit/no credit. Offered fall semester.
