SLP 582 - Motor Speech and Craniofacial Disorders
Study of the etiology and neuropathology of different dysarthric syndromes and corresponding diagnostic and management options. Students will also learn about the development, characteristics, evaluation, and treatment of children with cleft lip and/or palate and other craniofacial syndromes that affect speech, language, hearing, and swallowing. Offered fall and spring/summer semesters. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previously required courses in the SLP curricular sequence.
