ANT 431 - Historical Perspectives in Anthropology
Students will explore historical, theoretical, and methodological developments from an anthropological perspective, focusing on trends in interpretation of material culture, cultural resources management, experimental archaeology, and the contribution of anthropology to understanding major social issues. Students will critically examine the practice and application of anthropological research from a historic perspective. Offered as needed. Prerequisites: Two upper-division anthropology courses.
