EDS 474 - Directed Teaching in Autism Spectrum Disorder

Full day field-based experience designed to provide a clinical internship in a classroom with students with autism spectrum disorder. Includes two accompanying courses focused on evidence-based practices for planning for and teaching academic skills and social competence. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Declaration of special education major and B- or better in the following: EDS 205, EDS 305, EDS 306, EDS 332, EDS 405, EDS 406, EDI 430, and PSY 440. Corequisites: EDS 415 and PSY 442.
