ENS 238 - Polluted, Poisoned, and Pillaged: Exploring Michigan's Waterways Through Time

This course focuses on the environmental history of Michigan's waterways, exploring the most polluted rivers and waterbodies and analyzing these historical examples for their impact on the creation of public policy. Through historically grounded cases, students will get an in-depth understanding of the interrelationship between nature, politics, and culture. Fulfills Foundations - Historical Analysis.
