PHY 202 - Physics For Teachers: Motion, Energy, and Forces

A study of motion, its descriptions, and causes. Includes energy, force, momentum and torque. Applies principles of Calculus as applied to the motion of objects. Develops the ability to explain concepts to a range of audiences. Intended for science secondary endorsement major. Reflects National and Michigan science education standards. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: MTH 122 or MTH 124 or MTH 125 (MTH 124 preferred).
