Badge in Networking Fundamentals
This badge will increase a student's understanding of networking principles, enhancing their ability to apply those principles to solve network communication problems.
Learning Objectives or Competencies:
- Identify major networking protocols
- Distinguish the OSI and TCP/IP protocol stacks
- Discuss network addressing schemes
- Describe routing of messages through the internet
- Create a program that communicates over sockets

Classes are offered in-person in the late afternoon or evening in downtown Grand Rapids.
