Badge in R Programming
The R Programming Badge will signify the achievement of basic and intermediate R programming skills. R is a widely used software in industry and academia for statistical programming, business analytics, and data science. Being able to use statistical software to automate the analysis of data is an essential skill for anyone doing data analysis.
Students will need to successfully complete:
- STA 215 - Introductory Applied Statistics (3 credits) OR STA 220 - Statistical Modeling for Engineers (2 credits) OR STA 312 - Probability and Statistics (3 credits)
- STA 216 - Intermediate Applied Statistics (3 credits) OR CIS 162 - Computer Science I (4 credits)
- STA 418 - Statistical Computing and Graphics with R (3 credits)
