Aging and Adult Life

Knowledge of aging can improve your interactions with older people; it also can prepare you to make sound plans for your own later life. It can help you understand what public policy development is needed for the elderly and prepare you for employment in the field of aging. The courses in the sequence described as follows are designed to be taken by undergraduates as well as interested persons from the community at large.
This minor is designed to appeal to students whose major academic preparation is in sociology, psychology, social work, business, education, nursing, public administration, biology, economics, political science, health sciences, or recreation.
