Description
The 14th Annual Summer Institute for Climate Change Education will be in Washington D.C., co-hosted by the Lowell School, and with support from the NOAA Climate Office.
Join a network of teachers from across the country dedicated to bringing climate change education into Humanities classrooms! Content will be focused on grades 6-12 teachers in social studies/ELA/political science/environmental studies subjects.
Highlights include:
- New resources– including Climate Generation humanities curriculum and book guides
- Participate in the World Climate Simulation
- Field trip around Washington D.C. featuring sites in their climate action plan
- Climate change trivia night at a local brewery
