Lead Tutor Recruitment Application

A few quick notes:
- Training is provided and paid
- Position is virtual: Must have laptop and access to stable WIFI
- Pay ranges from $13.47 - $15.47/hour
- Start date is Sept. 7 – commitment through one full semester for at least 10 hours/week.

We are currently accepting applications for two separate lead tutoring positions. Both require a minimum commitment of 10 hours/week for the duration of the semester. If you are not able to commit at least 10 hours/week for the duration of the semester, consider applying as a volunteer with a lower commitment. This allows you to gain experience and gives you a foot in the door for a future position with K-12 Connect.
Homework Help Tutor: Provide 1:1 virtual homework help support for students in the grade(s) and subject area(s) of your choice. Minimum commitment of 10 hours/week for the entire semester.
Targeted Reading Tutor (TRT): Provide reading tutoring to identified at-risk students in Michigan schools. TRT tutors work 1:1 virtually with students to help them read through understanding phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. All TLT tutors receive extensive training and support specific to the program. More information can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/k12ctrtprogram.
