All CMB faculty and some faculty from other departments (Biology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry) mentor CMB 499 researchers. Begin by reviewing faculty research interests and email or meet with the professor whose research interests you. If they have room in their labs and your schedules and interests align, they will advise you further on how to register for CMB 499 and how to start working on your project. Your mentor will tell you what their expectations are considering your career goals. 

If you are interested in research pursued by CMB students over the past years, take a look at the abstracts of their research talks and poster presentations.
