Research Interests:

I am interested in the evolution of genes and also their effect on the evolution of behavior. With my colleague in the Biology Department (Professor M. Lombardo) my students and I have been using DGGE technology to look at the effect of microbial communities on behavior in Tree Swallows ( Tachycineta bicolor).
