Approach to Therapy:

Counseling is made up of unique conversations. It’s processing your life- both past and present, and how they are connected. It’s opening up about the pain and beauty of your experience. It’s moving forward with greater confidence—learning how to better navigate life’s ups and downs. My goal is to provide the space for you to do those things with deep compassion and empathy and yes, sometimes laughter.

My style of therapy tends to be person-centered, meaning that you get to take the lead. It tends to be insight-oriented, meaning that I believe understanding our lives often leads to healing them. Finally, it’s relational, meaning that I value our relationship as authentic and the relationships in your life as important. Connection matters, and if you want to build more of it into your life, we can work on that, too.

It would be an honor to meet you and begin our work in counseling together.
