Project-Based Learning
Faculty in the College of Education and Community Innovation provide professional development to teachers that are connected to the leadership development priorities of Battle Creek Public Schools. The training focuses on high-quality, project-based learning and competency-based education grounded in educational theory. This approach emphasizes intellectual challenge and learner accomplishment, public sharing of solutions, and reflection on process and results. These methods focus on student-driven projects, real-life applications of concepts and skills, and student evaluations.
