GVSU business program earns national recognition

Grand Valley State University's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program in the Seidman College of Business has been designated as a Next-Gen Chapter for its expertise and contributions in the area of digital enterprise.
Grand Valley was awarded the status by SAP, the market leader in ERP software, data analytics, cloud-based solutions and database integration. Grand Valley's ERP Program utilizes SAP software which is run by 250,000 companies in more than 130 countries.
Grand Valley was one of 11 universities to be designated as a Next-Gen Chapter in North America, which are academic centers of excellence supporting other educational institutions in the global SAP University Alliances network.
Simha Magal, professor of management and director of the Seidman ERP Program, said the designation will allow Grand Valley to collaborate with more than 500 educational institutions in the SAP Next-Gen program network. Chapter members share best practices to educate graduates using the latest SAP technologies.
