ESSU Company Tours
HB Fuller
March 17, 2017
Grand Rapids, MI — GVSU students from the Enterprise Systems Student Union (ESSU) toured the HB Fuller manufacturing facilities on Kinney Ave. this past Friday morning. Students and faculty members were exposed to plant processes using SAP and had informative discussions with the plant leadership team and Global SAP Director, Greg Mueller, regards to how an ERP system is being used at the location. Student Nick Zomer, ESSU President said “…the plant tour was so very interesting, not only did we get to see all of processes in motion, but we had time to dive in deep and look at how the SAP ERP system is truly affecting HB Fuller’s business.” Student Ben Rifkin, ESSU member stated “..the investment and time that HB Fuller put into this definitely paid off, I now have a deeper understanding of who they are [HB Fuller] and why they are so interested in our program.” The ESSU is proud to work with HB Fuller, and looks forward to continuing to build their relationship.
