October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Honor victims and support survivors by joining fellow Lakers at the Blue Bridge in downtown Grand Rapids. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to the Center for Women & Gender Equity (1201 KC) for refreshments at 5:30 p.m. We'll take the Laker Line from Kirkhof to the Pew campus and gather outside the Eberhard Center (301 Fulton St. W) near the Blue Bridge. This event is hosted by the Domestic Violence Action Network of Kent County. Program begins at 7:00 p.m.

Meet at the Center for Women and Gender Equity- 1201 Kirkhof Center to ride the bus together downtown or, meet at the Blue Bridge outside the Eberhard Center - 301 Fulton Street W.
