A discussion about collaboration in the Visual Arts. This event will include a screening of the film Nosferasta and documentation of installation projects. Hosted by Joel Potrykus as part of his Fiction Filmmaking II course. Public is welcome.
This event is part of the GVSU Arts Celebration, Segaajigewin: a 3-day series of events with Artist & Filmmaker Adam Khalil. This public series includes a lecture, open classroom visits with Adam, discussions & connections with Students, Faculty and Community Members. Attendees are encouraged to participate in all events, followed by a culminating discussion with Adam the last day of his visit.
In the original language of this place, Anishinaabemowin, Segaajigewin means the way of expression in art, including the multiple discourses and meanings generated around art processes and reception.
