Join GVSU professor Dr. Jacquelynn Doyon-Martin and Bellamy Creek Program Director Aaron Yore-VanOosterhout as they lead a panel discussion on incarceration, education, and the arts. Hear first-hand from Michigan residents on how access to the arts and education impacted them during and after their incarceration. This panel is co-sponsored by the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, & Legal Studies and the GVSU Art Gallery, in special recognition of the exhibition Humanize the Numbers , on view in the Richard M. DeVos Center, Building B, Pew Campus, Grand Rapids.

Doors open at 5 pm. A short video from Humanize the Numbers will play from 5:15 – 5:30, when the event will begin. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the panel.
