This session's topic: Privacy and Personal Space
What can we learn about the cultures and practices of various countries from the languages that they speak? How can we use this information to gain a deeper understanding of other cultures and avoid misunderstandings and miscommunications? This roundtable series features professors, staff, and students who are native or near-native speakers of foreign languages and have experience living in another country. Come and explore the interrelationships of language and culture!
