Description of the Organization

This organization creates software and hardware for airplanes. The organization is split up into sectors and I was part of the engineering sector. This company was average size and wasn't too big or too small.

Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed

Most of the tasks and projects that were completed included C programming, hardware testing, and the interaction between software and hardware. Test engineering is important for keeping manufacturing error to a minimum.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

I expanded on my knowledge of circuitry and C programming through this co-op experience. I gained a lot of experience in troubleshooting as well when it came to testing hardware connections and software debugging.

Favorite Part of the Experience

My favorite part of this co-op was working with all the hardware devices that are used inside airplanes. The complex programming and circuitry fascinated me to the extent of wanting to learn more and more each week.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

This experience has laid out a base for expectations in my future career avenue. I now have a better idea of where my career can take me if I try hard enough. I didn't have a clear understanding of what the duties of an Electrical Engineer could include and now I do.
