DornerWorks is a premier provider of electronic engineering services for the aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial markets. It is a smaller, growing company full of smart, friendly people ready to help and teach.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I work on an industrial appliance project . We designed the hardware and software for a module system for over 40 machines. I mainly did unit testing and making tools for future use. I also modified the source code where necessary.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned about, Git, Python, Extending Python with C, coding style for a large project and general micro controller application.
Favorite Part of the Experience
I liked the chance to be a part of the team and getting to do thing that were actually core to the project and not just "intern task".
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I would like to work at Dornerworks in the future or at least something very similar to the work I have done this semester.
