Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
As a Manufacturing and Quality Engineer Co-Op Student, I studied and developed ways to reduce scrap, participated in design projects, capability studies, and other small projects.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
This semester I developed and strengthened skills such as interpersonal skills, use of various gages and measurement techniques, and became more familiar with various types of machinery.
Favorite Part of the Experience
I enjoyed working with the other engineers and collectively trying to solve problems and make processes more efficient.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has allowed me to get more exposure to manufacturing and determine what I would like to do in the future.
