Description of the Organization
JR Automation is a relatively large company,but what makes it unique is that it's made up of multiple business units. Each business unit functions on it's own and they are pretty much independent of each other.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
For most of the semester I worked on one really big project. I was with it from pretty much start to end and got to see it go through all it's phases. I helped out with everything from debugging the code to making drawings.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
A lot about industrial automation. Everything from plc programming to working with different cad software's
Favorite Part of the Experience
The hands on experience of working on this giant machine and being able to program a button and watch it actually do something in real life.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
It really nurtured a passion for field work and programming things that actually have real life effects.
