Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed

Throughout the semester I did some electronics hardware development as well as a write some firmware for a microcontroller. Some projects included use of electronics lab equipment. I also attended meetings with customers and suppliers, as well as learn more about other areas such as manufacturing processes.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

I learned a lot about circuit design and PCB layout and manufacturability. I have also learned a lot about the electrical and optical properties of LEDs.

Favorite Part of the Experience

Since this was my second semester at EBWE, I was already familiar with the company and able to take on more responsibility than I did during my first rotation last summer.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

My goals haven't changed since the beginning of the semester. I hope to have a career with a focus in hardware design after I graduate.
