Description of the Organization
DDMR Management is a management firm that helps people who are creating business or launching new programs in the city with their development which could be anything from developing a business plan to creating programs to meet their initiatives.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I work directly with the sports based programs that a two clients were working on bringing to the city of Detroit. For one, I helped with the creation and development of her programs to help center it more sport based and the other I helped her with her business focus and all the business operations that go into her organizations like the name and branding.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned about creating and implementing business plans, I learned how to marketing and brand an organizations and I also learned how to apply for trademarks and LLC and things like that for businesses.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of my internship was working with the sports based mentor group because I was able to provide input and they trusted me and my input to be apart of their plans and programs.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has prepared me more as a professional and helped me to better understand the professional side of business and sports.
