I have written work instructions, helped run machines/ maintain machines (washers, CNC, Screw machines), updated tooling documentations, performed quality vision reports, order/ design demag tables, etc..
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
The have learned how to communicate better with others. The specific skills have been learning relate directly to Autocam's processes and systems; knowing how to use Autocam's resources to obtain specific knowledge about a particular part or process.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of the Co-op experience has been working. I feel that I can apply school knowledge that I have been gaining over the years. I mainly enjoy the feeling of accomplishing something meaningful and knowing I have a team of people to lean on for help.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
Not only have this experience been insightful but it is setting me up for successes. I am leaning things that can not be taught in a class room; communication, people skills, self motivation and much more.
