Description of the Organization
Chrysler Group LLC is one of the big three in the auto industry in the US. They are the owners of the the brands Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, and Mopar. They headquarters are in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Each week, I compiled an excel chart recording the numbers of all of the Chrysler brands international social media channels. Each week I would record these numbers and also check for content that was being shared on the social media channels. I would then create a report highlighting what was successful on international social media and what progress the countries social media were experiencing. I also assisted the international staff in any meeting they had and assisted in any other additional tasks that they needed. Also worked on the Dodge Dart case competition and created a mock campaign for the car.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
Knowing and understanding your demographics and the relevancy of social media. Understanding corporate culture and how to act in a corporate environment. Also learned how to further my skills in excel and power point.
Favorite Part of the Experience
Learning about the auto industry and getting to work on cool projects such as product placement. Also got to test drive many awesome cars.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I know have connections into the auto industry and now have a career goal of working in the auto industry. I learned all the components that make the company successful and learned that my skills are appropriate for a corporate setting.
