Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I completed a wide variety of tasks as the sports intern. The majority of tasks I completed were administrative, which included projects such as a competitive analysis and being sure all sports classes were prepared for and running smoothly. I also oversaw the summer T-ball/baseball league, and taught many different sports classes.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I gained and sharpened many different skills during this internship. I was able to show organization and leadership while helping to run the Summer T-ball/baseball league, and also made sure the sports classes were prepared for and running smoothly. I believe that being in the office setting for around 25 hours each week helped me become a better professional and allowed me to grow mentally.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this internship was being able to get both hands on experience while working at the baseball field and teaching classes, and also work in the office and do a lot of administrative tasks.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has made me a more confident individual and helped me to gain knowledge about non-profit organizations. I feel more confident going into the professional workplace.
