My second rotation at Trans-Matic involved: updating 3D cad prints using the Pro-E software, creating drawer layouts for organization of parts, and analyzing functionality of the company for continuous improvement. Rotations at Trans-Matic have you explore different aspects of the company. Thus no rotation is exactly the same experience.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

Going into this internship I had already had a previous knowledge of excel and 3D Drafting, but this experience improved upon them greatly. Also, everyday there is a new opportunity to learn about the standards of the company and the engineering industry as a whole when it comes to creating parts.

Favorite Part of the Experience

My favorite part of the co-op experience was the analysis of the company for continuous improvement. It provided a broader sense of how the company works and how individuals interact with one another.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

The second rotation of my co-op further convinced me that engineering was the correct career choice. The more time spent in the industry the more involved and interesting it becomes.
