Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
This co-op rotation, I was responsible for the entirety of the programming for the PLC's and HMI's of two machines for two automotive Tier 1 suppliers. In addition, I communicated with customers about the controls and programming of their machines.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
This rotation, I learned how to program Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLC's) and human-machine interfaces (HMI's), the most widely used brand in industry in the United States. This is a skill that is in high demand by employers, and will help position me at the forefront for future opportunities.
