Description of the Organization
Fisen is an HVAC company in partnership with Johnson Controls Inc. We provide custom modifications to JCI and York units that are not otherwise available. It is a relatively small company with great culture and atmosphere.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I worked on standardizing a modification so that when a job comes up with it, all the engineering is done beforehand. In doing this project I had to complete a few different tasks. These included 2-D and 3-D modeling, Electrical drawings, talking to vendors, and creating documents needed for sales. I also had the chance to help on the production floor installing modifications.

Favorite Part of the Experience
Being able to have hands on experience installing modifications on the HVAC units and then doing design work on them. The company atmosphere is very inviting and the culture is great.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I have enjoyed the small company culture and would like to end up at one in the future. It has provided me with insight into the HVAC industry.
