Herman Miller has been around for over 100 years. They specialize in premium corporate furniture and office space solutions. They are a very employee and community focused company.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
The options department is in charge of customizing products for special orders. I did a lot of CAD work and later learned how to process simple orders.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
Substantial ProE training as well as valuable Herman Miller product and processes knowledge.
Favorite Part of the Experience
The Herman Miller community is wonderful. They obviously value their employees and it was a pleasure to work for them.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
If possible I'd like to stay at Herman Miller until I retire. Seriously, this is a great company.
