Description of the Organization
Phase 1 is a small engineering consulting company, we do work mostly with RF based solutions and embedded systems. We have a small team of 7 people who work well together
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Tractor Downforce- Updated a pre existing system that controls the depth of planting wheels. Pizza Chiller- Updated a system that dispenses water at the correct temperature for making pizzas IOT Outlet - Measured the RF characteristics of printed antennas and changed part to balance them BLE beacon- Prototyped a Bluetooth beacon that will be used to track portable road segments BLE pressure sensor- Measured the connection quality of different BLE sensors.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned how to solder surface mount parts. I learned more about microcontrollers on a system level. I learned how balance and measure an antenna

I loved doing different things every week. This co-op never felt the same
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I now know that I want to work in consulting. Working on different projects every year.
